  • St. Bonaventure's Parish

    has a 200 club which raises money for HCPT Pilgrimage Trust. The club is looking to expand and is inviting members from the Sacred Heart Parish to join. For those of you unfamiliar with a 200 club it works as follows. You pay £24 per year (£2 per month). Half of the money becomes prize money, the other half goes into HCPT funds. A draw takes place monthly and the total amount given in prizes depends on the ‘numbers’ sold. Currently £100 per month with the top prize being £60, however the more members the higher the prize.

    Harvest Fast Day: Friday 7 October 2011- For the world’spoorest children, childhood can be a time of pain, despair and survival.Pan from Cambodia was 11 when he tested positive for HIV. Months later, his parents died because of AIDS. At a time when Pan felt life wasn’t worth living, CAFOD was there. Today, with CAFOD”s help, Pan is healthy, happy and excelling at school. To help Pan, and many more children in need, please give what you can at Fast Day. Envelopes are available attached to newsletter. Thank you for your generosity.
