    Please note that from Saturday 6 Oct the Mass times and locations will change due to the twining with St Antony's in Henbury.

    Saturday evening Mass will be at 6.00 at Henbury and Sunday morning  Masses will be at 9.15 & 11.15 at the Sacred Heart

    TEACHING ENGLISH - Can you teach English to refugees and asylum seekers?  Volunteers needed to lead or assist with informal English lessons in central Bristol.  Sessions will be run 10-12 on Monday mornings.  Please email Mairead at

    BRISTOL CATHOLIC PLAYERS next production in May 2013 will be ‘Iolanthe’. Rehearsals for this start on Wed 24th October at 8.00 pm. New members are always welcome to come along and join in at the Newman Hall.

  • BIBLE STUDY

    BIBLE STUDY FELLOWSHIP - this is an interdenominational Bible study class which welcomes people from all walks of life and provides a unique way to study God’s word. A ladies’ class, with a programme for pre-school children from birth to 5 years, meets in Bristol on Tuesday mornings during term time. From September we will be studying Genesis.

    MONASTERY OF OUR LADY & ST BERNARD, BROWNSHILL are organising two special weekends as part of this year’s programme. The first ‘Come and See” will be held from 21 - 23 September. It is an opportunity to discover the riches of the Monastic tradition, to share the life of the Community and to explore the possibility of Vocation for single Catholic women.
