• ITALIAN TODDLER GROUP

    Italian Toddler Group . The Italian Cultural Centre of Bristol in partnership with Scuola Italiana is launching a new bi-lingual playgroup. All parents, either Italian or married to an Italian are invited to come with their children to play games and listen to stories in Italian. First meeting 12th Nov in the Apostle room, Ss Peter & Paul Clifton Cathedral from 10.30am til 12.00. Next meeting 10th December.

  • ST JAMES PRIORY

    St James Priory November 4th at 7pm. Holy Mass will be offered for deceased family & friends. All are welcome. Tea/ coffee afterwards.

     

  • MEMORIAL MASS - ST BRENDAN'S

    A Memorial Mass  for deceased pupils and staff of St Brendan’s College, both the original College and the later Sixth Form College, will be celebrated at Clifton Cathedral on Saturday 8th November 2014 at 10.30am.   • CAFOD HARVEST FAST DAY

    The final amount raised by our two parishes for the Fast day was a magnificent £2009.41, including the sale of produce at St Antony’s. Thank you very much for your generous support for CAFOD’s work to help those who, as Pope Francis says “struggle to live and, often, to live with precious little dignity.”

     

  • DIOCESAN TRUSTEE

    The Diocesan Trustees are looking for an additional Trustee with property management experience. The position is unpaid apart from basic expenses but provides an opportunity to help the efficient running of the Diocese. It will be of interest to a Catholic professional who can commit to approximately two days a month. It provides challenging work which can be seen to be the equivalent of being a non-executive director in a commercial organisation.

  • CAFOD

    CAFOD EVENING 7.30pm on Tues 11th Nov

    In the Presbytery after evening Mass there will be a talk by Hilary Farey on the project at St Bonaventure’s, Living Simply, together with information from the CAFOD Group on CAFOD’s work and campaigns. All are welcome.

     

  • AMERICAN LUNCH SATURDAY 23RD NOVEMBER

    Our 75th Anniversary Celebrations will continue with a shared lunch in the Newman Hall on Sunday 23rd November at 12.30pm. After the Mass for the Deceased of the Parish. If you are planning to attend please give an indication of the food you will bring so that we can ensure a variety of dishes. There is a yellow sign up sheet and list in the narthex.

     

  • MEN'S PRAYER GROUP

    Men’s Prayer Group meets on the first Monday of the month at 8pm in the Newman Hall Bar for 20 mins of prayer followed by drinks.  This is a relaxed & friendly group with a warm welcome for newcomers.  The next meeting: Mon 3rd Nov
