Newman Hall complex

The parish is fortunate to own a purpose-built hall behind the church. The Newman Hall complex is a focal point for the social life of the parish and local community and consists of:

The Newman Hall

This is the largest room in the complex and includes a licensed bar and well-equipped stage. It seats 204 in rows or 120 around tables. The hall is regularly used by theatre companies and has recently been refurbished.

Other function rooms

The Bosco room is used for a wide range of activities from photography to youth and can accommodate about twenty people. There are also two small rooms which are ideal for smaller meetings or prayer groups.

The Newman Hall bar

A separate bar adjoins the hall and is ideal for get-togethers of up to 50 people. The bar is run by the Parish Social Club and can be booked by contacting Dan Leightley on 07411 786 151. Further details follow under Parish Social Groups.

Newman Hall Social Club

Run by a committee of volunteers, the club organises social events throughout the year. These include themed meals (French, Italian, etc.), barbeques and seasonal events. Find out more at the Newman Hall bar (open 8-11pm nightly).
